After The Meet and Greet --- Room #410
May. 9th, 2006 10:26 pmSometime after the celebration for all of the new students, Gwynn managed to find her assigned room. She had stared at the door in consternation for a long time before she remembered the keys they had handed her when they gave her her paperwork first thing.
After some struggling, a few kicks, and a great deal of cursing, Gwynn finally found the correct way to get the key into the lock. When she finally got it to turn and open, she pushed the door open and carried her bags into her new room.
She stood in the middle of the room and was amazed at the roominess of the room. Her room at Tuck's monastery had been a great deal smaller. She carried her bags and placed them on the bed nearest the window. The window would make her feel that she wasn't so closed in.
She left the door open while she started putting her belongings away. As she put things in their place, she thought about the nice and friendly people she had met today and she hoped that the person she was sharing this room with was just as friendly and kind as everyone else she had met.
